Njie B the Conqueror

Njie B aka Zion Man whose real name is Bakary Njie was born in Farafenni Town, North Bank Division, The Gambia. He grew up and did his schooling in Farafenni graduating in 2001.

Named after his Grand father, who was also a famous traditional musician, Njie B started music at an early age. "I inherited the music from my grandfather", he gladly points out. As a talented and inspired one, he did his first recording at Adden studio in Bakoteh in 2002, the Gambia. This did not do well so he decided to 'step down'(as he puts it) for more practice and seek more inspiration. After having much inspiration in the music world, he recorded a single entitled 'See Dem Coming' at Sunland Studios, Fajara, in The Gambia. This single instantly became a hit song.

Njie B released his debut album entitled 'See Dem Coming' in the Gambia in December 2005.
