Hood hustlers a.k.a Double H is a Gambian rap group found in the Gambia . The group comprises of six teenagers from ages ranging from 17-20. Members of the crew are stego the pro, lyrical vypa the ghetto spokesman, b2 the gambian kid, Padee the Royal-e, Kits the ghetto king and Saiks a.k.a click dead.
It all started in high school when B2 came up with an idea to form a rap group because of the love he had for the game. He decided to talk to the best, so he talked to lyrical vypa who was in the same school with him.so in turn lyrical vypa asked b2 to also talk to stego since he was also one of the best in the school. After a brief meeting the three teenagers decided to form the group and named it the hood hustlers, thus the birth of Double H. All three were from different hoods and had dreams of becoming rich even though they were going through hard times in the hustle game. The three started working together and in no time dropped a couple of joints that became very radio friendly. Following the release of the group's second and third songs named "throw your hood up" & "back dat ass up" respectively which became hitsongs and are being played in various radio stations across the country. The joints were spinned by top dj's including dj xmyls and mysterious.
Through the underground rap scene, hood hustlers joints got to the eager ears of kits a.k.a the ghetto king who always had something for the rap game. Kitz spoke to lyrical vypa, who was living in the same hood about promoting there music since he was very impressed by these young talents. A performer very well known for his nice dancing moves from lend a hand society by the name Saiks a.ka click dead was also attracted to the group. Saiks was also into hip hop and with his skills added more style and floss to the group. Finally, Padee was was invited by his boy stego and the lyrical vypa to join the crew and they accepted, increasing the memers of the crew to lucky number six.
The Hood hustlers have now grown to be one of the best in the region of west africa and the Gambia. They have gained a lot of street recognition and credibility over the years and their music is played in several countries in west africa. After a lot of hardword their much awaited and anticipated mix tape will hit the streets of West Africa and England in summer.
