Because of Barz' AKA RimezGalore and Ace AKA Prince Ali's similarity's in rhyme style and flows they automatically clicked and decided to form a crew under the name DeLyrikal(delirious lyrical) Cypha. Together they hit shows and radio stations around Gambia to get a name out for them selves and spread their messages.

 

Within 2 years of forming the group, DeLyrikal Cypha has earned regular spins on the local Hip-Hop station, the Basement, on West Coast radio with DJ X-Miles and performed for shows organized by DJ Pisces and clubs like spy bar and destinys and many others, as well as organizing their own shows for the local Hip-Hop heads.

 

DeLyrikal Cypha has linked with Smokey to make the Gambian Hip-Hop mix tape ‘La Cosa Nostra' ‘Get Familiar', Including tracks from local artists Ohm Noir, Gainde Njie, Sunz of light aswell as themselves.

 

DeLyrikal Cypha has collaborated on tracks with Smokey and Hakiem from The Sunz of Light delivering raw flows with hard hitting lyrics.

 

DeLyrikal Cypha, with their raw tongue twisting flows, has gained street rep from hoods in Gambia like Serrekunda, Kanifing, Fajara for their style of Hip-Hop, delivering messages through classic, underground rap while staying away from the watered down commercial style that most rappers would use to gain easy access to airplay and fame, in their raps they rebel against the bling bling era that's currently killing the essence of Hip-Hop and tell the world to wake up to the ways of the world and look at the bigger picture instead being infatuated with the minor things in life.

 

Barz and Ace are currently promoting their albums (La Cosa Nostra Mix tape and Barz' solo Lp ‘‘Extreme Depths'' available at Paul Maroons in Westfield and other retailers around Gambia) in UK and US striving for international status, gaining connections from promoters in UK, US, and Europe aswell as other parts of Africa.
